Building Bridges… and More to Come
December 14, 2023Your chance for MORE creative input
January 18, 2024In 2022, ICA responded to its members’ desire for more events with its first regional event at Gadabout in Tucson, Arizona. Last year, Penzone Salon + Spa hosted ICA’s second successful regional event in Columbus, Ohio.
This year, long-time ICA member Susan Haise and owner of Edgeless Beauty Group welcomes members to Wisconsin, where her two medispas, two schools, five salons and spas, and distribution company (for Ultraceuticals in nine states) are located.
ICA members attending the event will get an inside look from Haise and her team on what it takes to build a 10 million dollar company, including processes and procedures on both the salon and spa sides of the business.
“I run extremely lean, just like any other owner, and the lion’s share of revenue goes to the technical team members—my boat’s just bigger,” she says. “My business is always about people. The way I serve people is the foundation of my success—my team comes first.”

What to Expect
ICA members attending the event will benefit from Haise’s vast experience as a salon, spa and school owner, learning about strategic operations, education programs, technology, hospitality, retail in the salon and spa, and much more.
“Day one has the most robust itinerary,” Haise says. “And then on the second day we end at noon so attendees can get services and tour other locations if they choose.”
Tours of Neroli Spas, medispas and salon and spa services will be available before and after the event.
Haise looks forward to talking to ICA members about all she has learned about creating and evolving a business in her 30-year career.
“I’ll share what I would do differently if I did it all over again—with the benefit of hindsight—you don’t know until you’ve developed a brand for 30 years,” she says.
