Your chance for MORE creative input

It’s a new year, and Intercoiffure America Canada (ICA) members are looking forward to ICA’s annual events in the spring and fall as well as the third annual regional event, hosted by Susan Haise March 10-11.

Last year, ICA asked members for feedback on the Fall Atelier and Spring Gathering, and you responded with a request for more collaboration. So, in 2024, with your creative input, ICA rolled out its new benefactor program.

Sheila Zaricor-Wilson, ICA president, says, “Our members want to support each other and see one another on stage. We listened to that feedback and found a way for members to have a voice in choosing the artists we spotlight at our events.”

Become a Benefactor

To directly influence who they’ll see on stage at ICA events, members now have the option to become a benefactor when they renew their membership.

This optional add-on (starting at $500) will allow members to provide financial support to an artist or salon group, and support color, cutting, student or educator presenters. Benefactors will receive recognition on stage, on screen and in event programs.

“At ICA, we grow together and look for opportunities to involve more of our talented members whenever possible,” Zaricor-Wilson says.

Renew For Two Years and Save

Membership dues for the new year are due February 15, and ICA is offering its members a $165 discount when they renew their membership for two years.

“We look forward to another year of inspirational events, including our first North American Gathering in Montreal, Quebec,” says Zaricor-Wilson.
