ICA NOUVEAU: NEW TALENT & MASTER ARTISTS
CELEBRATING ARTISTRY AT EVERY STAGE
The Nouveau Photo Contest, presented at the ICA Fall Atelier, celebrates the artistry, creativity, and passion of professionals working in Intercoiffure salons. The competition now features two categories:
• New Talent: Professionals with five years or less of experience behind the chair.
• Master Artists: Professionals with six years or more of experience behind the chair
Eligibility is limited to licensed cosmetologists working as part of the team of an Intercoiffure “A” member or Class “A” partner salon. See the complete contest information for context theme, entry requirements, important dates, and submission details.

This initiative was developed to spotlight the people at the core of the beauty industry—educators.
Beauty industry partners Pivot Point, Beauty Cast Network, America’s Beauty Show and Pro Beauty Association help ICA’s team gather nominations from students across North America and a committee of ICA members read each nomination, narrowing it down from 1600+ nominees to a top five (5) each year.
The top 5 are flown to the Fall Atelier, along with the student who nominated them, for a better understanding of what an independent salon (vs. salon suite) can offer.

Together with Pivot Point, ICA hosts an annual Student Contest; open to all accredited beauty schools. The program recognizes beauty school students AND their instructors as we honor their creativity and passion!
