Fall Trend Collection 2012: Vivienne Mackinder creates fascination for Intercoiffure America/Canada.
“Big Tease” – The new Fall Trend Collection by Vivienne Mackinder, Fashion Director, for Intercoiffure America/Canada (ICA), introduced October 15, at the 2012 Fall Atelier in New York City.
NEW YORK: Intercoiffure America/ Canada Fashion Director, Vivienne Mackinder, approached her latest Trend Release with the thought that you can either be fascinating, or you can be boring. The result is her “Big Tease” Collection — which is designed to create fascination with long hair, keeping clients excited about their hair and services.
“Big Tease” is about volume, feminine, sexy, and sultry hair. Every style in this collection is teased to create volume, wave patterns and curls. These styles are relaxed and undone, they’re lived in, and part of the sexiness is that undoneness.
We’re established in the principles of classic hair cutting, but the art of razor cutting still is an innovative tool and new art-form for many stylists. The combination and marriage of the razor with dressing and finishing skills creates newness in our business, a new frontier where we can expand our skills to give clients something more – and that’s what this collection is meant to inspire. My challenge to you is to take inspiration from the trend collection to create fascination in your own business. Make your promotions fascinating and provide fascinating services. Remember, you can either be fascinating, or you can be boring.
