Intercoiffure Hair Color Council Looks to the FutureOctober 14, 2012
Mary Brunetti is appointed Artistic Director
NEW YORK: Intercoiffure America / Canada (ICA) President Lois Christie announced the formation of an Artistic Team last month.
Christie appointed Mary Brunetti, industry icon and Director of Education at the world renowned Sally Hershberger salons in New York City, as the Team’s Artistic Director.
The mission of the Artistic Team is to bring fashion into the hair realm in a way that participating ICA members can take inspiration and information back to their salons immediately, and put these new ideas directly into action.
– Mary Brunetti
The Artistic Team is organized from select ICA members across the country, designed to bring together presenters and educators to present at the two ICA annual events, and to produce two photo shoots of collections each year. They may also be called upon to work with the color council and fashion director.
The first collection presented by the new team is Great Gatsby inspired hair, during the ICA Fall Atelier in New York, and their first photo shoot is slated for February 2013.
The Artistic Team is currently interviewing for 2-4 additional members. Those interested can contact Brunetti by email at email@example.com.
Founding members include:
- David Kinigson, West Palm Beach, FL
- Sherri Jessee, Bristol, VA
- Faatemah Ampey, Saint Paul, MN
