Scott J. Buchanan boasts over 35 years of experience in the industry as a stylist and a leading salon owner. He has been a distinguished member of Intercoiffure for more than 20 years, serving on various committees and the board. His involvement extends beyond Intercoiffure; he has held leadership positions in other industry organizations, such as the Professional Beauty Association, where he served as Chairman.

Scott is also recognized for his commitment to the industry and his philanthropic support for numerous charities, including the Sloan Kettering Institute, the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, HairtoStay, and the National Rainforest Preservation.

As he mastered his skills and grew his business, he earned acclaim for his transformative makeovers and presentation prowess. In collaboration with Aveda, he journeyed across the country to educate and impart his philosophy on enhancing inner beauty, superior artisanship, and community impact, striving to raise consciousness in and about the beauty industry.
