Intercoiffure HairColor Council

The Haircolor Council was born in 2007, the brainchild of Lois Christie, president of Intercoiffure America/Canada. A respected colorist herself, Lois understands the need for a forum uniting colorists throughout the industry – forum that will help to identify the next generation of talented color artists.

Under the leadership of creative director Gina Khan, of Gina Khan Salon in San Francisco, the Council’s mission is “To unite and raise the profile of color specialists of all levels through a network of creative energy, supported by the highest level of pure education and best practices.” Its vision is “To lead a meaningful dialogue among colorists and set an example of professional standards for the present and future of salon coloring worldwide.”
